Good Luck & Goodbye

One Of My Daughters teachers had her last day at Kindy today after 23 years!! so I made this little gift set and filled with Easter eggs. The milk cartons are non stampin-up paper but matched my card. The card was just out of my scrap box and it was my 1st play with my 'Strength and Hope' set. It's made such a cute set and the gift was very well received.

Sparkly Butterfly

This layout was another of the sketches I have found on sites then stored away to later help when I need some inspiration. And this colour combo is from the IBC page 67 along with another card I have already posted. I painted over the butterfly with crystal effects then sprinkled on the silver glitter from the Fine Galaxy pack in the catalogue. This stuff is super fine and so so sparkly.

Garden Whimsy

This is another from my playtime session on Sunday, using a set not inked up for a long time. Its a colour combo in the IBC, page 67 that I have been wanting to try for a long time. There are tiny bling on the ends of all the feelers.

Easter Treats

These treats are for my kids at Easter or though by then I'm sure I would have eaten all this chocolate and put more in here, lol. The template came from a fries pod at Burger King. It was really easy to pull apart and just draw around it. These three are made from retired colours coz they were just a test run to begin with , but I decided they turned out great. Now just to hide them from the kids til Easter.

Extreme... Boys

My friend late last year went to America for a holiday and while there took a stampin'-up workshop with a demonstrator and also put in a wee order of some stamps we can not get here yet, I say yet because I am ever hopeful. I have two boys aged 7 and almost 10 years old so they and all there friends are well past lots of the cute-sy stamps that are around for kids. So I couldn't help having a play with these two from her collection and I can see so many possibilities from these, They are called 'Extreme skateboard and Extreme Dirt bike'.

Squash Books

Well school holidays are now all over. Officially back to school tomorrow... yay, more me time I hope! I had a Japanese student here for a couple of weeks which was great fun and of course she loved stamping. So together we made squash books. I love these and have made quite a few. But this one was real fun because it was my practise run into scrap booking, I have finally got the courage to try my hand at it after putting it in the too scared basket for so long. So this is the year to begin... watch this space.lol

Mean while we had fun making these books, I am yet to get photos for mine I still need to decide who will get it but my Student 'Nao' has got her photos and has posted it home to her family in Japan. Thanks for looking.

Fathers Day is creeping closer

I have started making up some ideas for Fathers day and at my last $3.00 cards night we made all our cards to suit the men and boys. I will post those over the next couple of days. First up is what I made for my husband from me and 3 kids. We each have a pocket. The tags all come out and I'm going to get a photo of each kid and then they can each write a message on the back of their tag and then we will slip a gift card or something in the 4th pocket. The original is not my idea but I combined a few things I have seen around the Internet. This one took quite a while to make because I was playing with a few ideas at the time. This would be so easy to adapt for different occasions. Today I have 6 ladies coming to do a class on this, but not necessary for the men so that will be fun to see every ones Else's take on it, and I will try to get some photos to post. There were lots of different stamp sets, punches and a far bit of sponging too.

Truck loads of Grey

Hi there, this card I wanted to show you is more of the cards using my new favourite colour 'grey'. This is a great lay out to use up scraps. you can team any colour with this grey. Also I used the colour wheel here and used the 'Dynamic Duos' from one side of it to help my colours all tie in nicely together. This layout is so easy to change to fit any stamps

My Vintage Vogue

Everyone is playing and ordering this set at the moment, so now its my turn. Its so pretty, but what to do with it.

I have a whole lot of sketches that I have made a copy of into my notebook so I could attempt them at some stage without a time limit over my head and I so enjoyed it, I might even go have ago at some for real around blog world. I cant now remember where this sketch came from but I think it looks nice with this set. Complete with bling!
