Congratulations Grad

I have wanted to make a graduation card for some one for a long time, today I had a friend put in an order for one for a teacher at my kids school. I followed an awesome video tutorial for one on Frenchies blog. Its called a Graduation Easel Card.  I don't have a score pal but found it easy enough with out it. Not bad for the very small time slot that I had to work with. The stamping is tucked up inside( not much room for it) so you can't see much. The card stands up really well.

Wish Big !

My son has a birthday party to go to this afternoon and of course I left the card making to the last minute, although I had the plan in my head and for a change it came right out of my head as a imagined. Love it when a plan comes together. We had bought movie vouchers for a present so hench the popcorn on the card. The red and white striped box has a 3D effect to it and all the popcorn pieces have been sponged with daffodil delight to coat them in butter. Yummy!

Inlaid again.....

This card is more from that Inlaid technique, but this time I stamped then embossed it. And then to pretty it up I put some pearls on random flowers. I love purple but don't use it nearly enough. The words was a stamp that wouldn't fit any of my punches so after stamping I just put the ends of the card stock through the punch. Its quite a plain card but effective.

Mini Scrapbooking

This is my latest project I have been working on. I found a great blog belonging to Sarah in the states with a fantastic tutorial on how to make these. It is made with 5 envelopes which have the top flap cut off them so the pages then double as pockets. I have used the celebration DSP with the quick accents which are self adhesive. I had over looked these in the past, but no longer they are great and so easy to use Combines with the matching paper they made decorating this album so easy.

I have used lots of different bits of stamp sets in this, but mainly the extreme elements set because I decided to make this for my son. He is also a lover of all things "Bugs" so the bugs and kisses stamp set is in there to.

Note in the picture below my cat's foot in the photo, he was trying so hard to help me take photos. lol

this was so much fun to make! If you would like to have ago to please contact me.
