I have a bridal shower to go to this afternoon so wanted to take a wee treat for the bride to be. This is one of my Pinterest pins, ( finally I made one ! ). It's made from a 12x12 piece of modern Medley DSP.

The 'Duck Boat' scrap page
Another LO from when Zoe was at Kindy, I Struggle a lot with trying to put journalling on my pages, but with this one it just worked. I have seen lots of pages with the words cut in strips like this and have always admired them. This time I hand wrote the words partly because I don't have a printer at present lol. I like the end result of this page. This is a boat the drives on land then into the water hence the blue 'ripples' done with the Tasteful trims die. I seam to use this on almost all my pages.

Your Invited....
My oldest Boy had his birthday last week and these were the invites I made. The Dsp on the front is retired but I only had a little bit left, just perfect for the four invites I had to make, pretty simple design and there was a piece of string looping round the flowers to keep it shut. I even ran the flower thing past him first and he was ok with that too.

My Princess Castle card
A week or so ago Tracey Old featured on her blog a fantastic castle card that she had made from a tutorial found in blog land, Well, I have a wee princess who is about to turn 5 and I just had to go hunt it down to make my own card so the tutorial is Here, featured on a blog by Lisa Young. My wee girl loves pink and purple so I used the DSP that is from the hostess section this catalogue called Cheerful Treat. Her birthday is still a few weeks away so I am trying to keep the card a secret.

Sand Angels
Another of my scrapbook pages. This time this was my daughter last summer - remember the one where we had lots and lots of sun, 2011, she was making sand angels, just like the ones you make in the snow.!! This page I kept very simple. I had a big open space in the top left corner until I first got my Big shot die with all the trims on it, I was putting those squiggly little lines on everything, but it did need something up there I just didn't no what at the time. The shell stamps across the bottom come from "the other" stamp place.

Embossing resist, again
This was a birthday card for a friend of mine whose b-day was a couple of days ago, It uses my favourite technique but this time I have done it on DSP. I love stamping on newsprint patterns Here I have used wheels and lots of different stamps, its hard to see each one separately. Also big butterflies using the Big Shot. I love how this came out.

Extreme Guitars
This is my latest new rubber. Its a stamp with so many possibilities. Can make boy or girl cards, I have a 10 year old and this is just great for around that age with out being cute. My boys are not even into music this way but my cards got a definite thumbs up from them - even the pink one!! The card on the left was made using the colour coach, I thought it a strange colour combo but now that I have tried it I really like it, Go the colour Coach.

Punch Art
This is some more fantastic punch art from the fabulous blog of 'Ellen Kemper' ( sorry I don't no how to link). I used this idea in a class last weekend, its nice and simple and uses just one punch, The Bird punch. This card also got me using my colour pack of Melon Mambo' which I have had forever and barely used. Also the DSP is retired but it was the best match I had for the job.

Squash Books
Well school holidays are now all over. Officially back to school tomorrow... yay, more me time I hope! I had a Japanese student here for a couple of weeks which was great fun and of course she loved stamping. So together we made squash books. I love these and have made quite a few. But this one was real fun because it was my practise run into scrap booking, I have finally got the courage to try my hand at it after putting it in the too scared basket for so long. So this is the year to begin... watch this space.lol
Mean while we had fun making these books, I am yet to get photos for mine I still need to decide who will get it but my Student 'Nao' has got her photos and has posted it home to her family in Japan. Thanks for looking.

Cat Treats
Recently while I went away on holiday I had a couple of people feeding my pussy cats for me, its always nice to bring home small treats for people to say thanks. I found these fudge bars while holiday shopping but decided to decorate them a bit. I have used retired paper and made up some tags with scrapes of paper.

Christmas Box
This wee box is from my new delivery yesterday, it is the fancy favour box . I added a handle and a lid to it. I think it came out fantastic and just love the Xmas pack of DSP, and that new Cherry cobbler colour has I think becoming my new favourite colour too.

Accordion File Purse
Isn't this just the cutest wee box. I found this while surfing the Internet. I have made my box with Pink Pirouette and some Bella Rose DSP. so far it has a flower punched out then I put a clear rhinestone brad thu it for the closing. I just need to go get some Velcro dots to close the purse properly.Hmmm now what to use it for..... This is not my design, If you would like the directions, e-mail me and I will send you in the right direction.

For the boys
Here is another one of the cards we did at my $3 cards that was for the men in our lives. This was a card I found on Splitcoast, there we many different versions . I just made up my own pattern for this one and just kinda made the card as I went along. This uses the DSP Belle Blue, it was about the most boyish that I had. Around the edge of the overalls I drew fake stitching with the matching marker, Not Quite Navy . The tools are stamped and cut out from the Totally Tool set. love this set! and the buttons were just fakes, I made from a half inch circle with two holes in it then put crystal effects over the top to make them nice shining buttons. I love this card and everyone who did this came up with some great variations using different DSP though.
