Happy 21st Emily

Isn't this awesome. This was an order from one of my stamp class ladies. Her daughter (another of my stamping ladies) had her 21st a couple of weeks ago and the mum wanted one of these for all the guests to sign, isn't that a great keepsake.  I haven't made one of these squash books in a very long time so really enjoyed putting it together. Its all black and confetti white cardstock with a wee touch of silver  and a little bit of perfect plum. I used white craft ink to stamp on the black pieces and for now it has  plain black covers. A good space for some photos maybe. There are many sets used on here. I hope the birthday girl liked it.

Masculine Birthday card

This was the birthday card I made for my oldest boy for his birthday. Its a great design I cased from Kristine McNickle from a while back, I loved what she did on her card and I have made a lot of this style for boys cards just changing the colour combo. The skater dude has had the rock'n'roll technique done on him using the same two colours of my card, Lucky Limeade and Elegant Eggplant. This card uses a stampin up stamp that was never available here, such a shame! It's borrowed from a friend. My son is into his scooter in a big way so this was close.

Orange Again

This was another of my layouts from the beginning and using that orange colour that i dislike so much but  it keeps popping up over and over again. I picked my two colours from the balloons and couldn't really change that. This was one of those family pages to go into our Family Album. I struggle with  the journalling side of scrapbooking, this is one of those pages that still needs details. The memory tag in the page above came from a set at spotlight, Not Stampin' up but fantastic for scrapbooking!

BFF scrapbooking

This was one of those pages that just fell into place, and that was exciting when I am just so new to this scrapping thing. The silver BFF and the star are from this silver roll of 'stuff'  that came from Bunnings. I'm not really into hardware stuff, just go there to visit my friend, Hi Coral, lol. Anyways it's this real cool stuff that goes thru the big shot really easy and is adhesive, so ya just cut, peel and stick.

Punchart Trucks

Isn't this the coolest  punch art. This page has been completely CASE ed from Here  . I loved everything about it and as soon as a saw it, I just new exactly which photos I would use. I don't have the stamp set Erica used for the cute trucks so  I went hunting for some punch art.  I had these saved on my computer for a long time but I had no names or anything with it so don't no who to give credit to for these great designs. I also had just the completed pictures so had to make them up as I went along.

Cricket punchart scrapbooking

This is more of my scrapbooking pages, my oldest son played cricket at school. I don't own any sport stamps so made some cricket wickets with punchart on my page. I love how it turned out. So far the cricket ball is just plain and still not stuck down, I need a white gel pen to draw on the stitching.

Mini Scrapbooking

This is my latest project I have been working on. I found a great blog belonging to Sarah in the states with a fantastic tutorial on how to make these. It is made with 5 envelopes which have the top flap cut off them so the pages then double as pockets. I have used the celebration DSP with the quick accents which are self adhesive. I had over looked these in the past, but no longer they are great and so easy to use Combines with the matching paper they made decorating this album so easy.

I have used lots of different bits of stamp sets in this, but mainly the extreme elements set because I decided to make this for my son. He is also a lover of all things "Bugs" so the bugs and kisses stamp set is in there to.

Note in the picture below my cat's foot in the photo, he was trying so hard to help me take photos. lol

this was so much fun to make! If you would like to have ago to please contact me.

Hip to be Square...

This was a card I first saw done by Mary Fish, on her blog called 'stampinpretty.com' she has a fantastic blog. Her card was also done in green. I had a person in mind for this card when I also decided to do green, I used Old olive for the card base and pear pizzaz for the ink, its such a nice green. I then decided to have another go using Black and vanilla, and then changed the card a bit. I used lots of different stamps in these and a few pearls. I love how they both came out and am now keen to try some different colour combos.
