The Elves are working hard

The little elves are flat out at the moment making all the gifts for Santa to deliver. I have seen these all over the Internet so had to have a turn too.

Happy Hallowe'en

Although we don't celebrate this in our house, I do like to make we treats for my kids. This year instead of lollies I found this idea on Pintrest, using cheese balls so these could go into my kids lunch boxes today

Gift bag and matching card

These bags are about the internet in small and smaller sizes to fit in wee chocolate treats but this time I needed a larger sized gift bag. It's still made from a 12 x 12 piece of cardstock. I let the DSP be my colour choice and !!.... mixing crisp cantaloupe in with cherry cobbler is not where I would have gone. This paper is from the Trim the Tree DSP stack in the mini catalogue. I made a colour matched card from a card sketch online at the moment . I love these little flowers made from small scallop circles, screwed up then wetted. Happy Birthday Star.

The 'celebrate' sentiment is from the good greetings stamp set that is avaliable free for a limited time.

I have a bridal shower to go to this afternoon so wanted to take a wee treat for the bride to be. This is one of my Pinterest pins, ( finally I made one ! ). It's made from a 12x12 piece of  modern Medley DSP. 

Happy Mothers Day

Aren't these pretty packages and so quick to put together with the chevron printed kraft bags. These are wee Mother's Day treats for my kids teachers, one of them doesn't have children but she is still worth celebrating because she is an awesome teacher! Just as I went to take my photo the sun went behind a cloud!

Take home bunny boxes

From earlier post I said my daughter has just had her birthday and because it was on Easter Friday I decided to bunny theme some of the bits. Because of it being the holidays there were only two little girls coming so I made these cute little treat boxes as there wee take home thing with all there bits and pieces. There are plenty of designs of these around the internet so I just used the bits I had. They were very well received .

Happy Easter

Are these not the cutest wee bunnies around! Cased from a friend and made with the Bow Die and lots and lots of M & M's, these are Easter treats for my kids and a friends kids! I'm sure she is reading this. They won't make it in time for Easter but at least you can see what is coming your way Stella :).

Christmas Tags

People are starting to mention Christmas already - does that scare you? While blog surfing today I came across the awesome blog of Becky Roberts. She had a Halloween item on her blog that I thought sought be great for Christmas. with a colour change of course and different stamps I made three sets of these Christmas tags in no time at all. Becky provides all the measurement you need. Everything I have used is retired here but this project can be changed in so many ways to what you have. 

A Big Giant Thank You

These are the pretty packages I have made up for my kids sports coaches this year. So fast and easy. a very little bit of stamping and its all done. All that's left to do now is not each them before My kids deliver them out.

Pretty present

This is one of the tag and gift boxes that is in our new catalogue right now, I needed a quick gift for one of my sons teachers and with no time to go to the shops. I had to make biscuits for lunch boxes any way so thought we would sent some along to a busy teacher also,. The hardest part about these gift boxes is what colour tag to use lol.

Happy Valentines Day

We don't celebrate this day much in my house but I do like to give my kids a wee treat. The milk carton die makes a cute size to give something small. I filled these up with skittles.

Here is another Pinterest find, clever present wrapping. My daughter has another birthday party to go to today just down the road. I thought this was a real fun way to gift wrap a present.

Origami anyone

Happy New year everyone. We have another Japanese student staying with us for a couple of weeks and one of the gifts she gave to my family was some origami papers. Origami s not one of mt strong points so I decided to make a mini album out of some. I have made several of these before from a Dsp. This time I had to use two retired colours 'poppy parade' & 'concord crush' because they the best match for the papers. I have used some of the new framelits to make some frames for photos and for tags. I really like how it has come out.

Teacher Gifts

Today is the last day of school for my children so I have been busy making their thank you gifts in the last couple of days, Pintrest is so great foe ideas. These cute little ice - cream Sundays were so easy to put together. My cherry on the top is a "roses chocolate". The bath salts at the bottom is colored Epsom salts with some essential oils added.

Found it!

This is not quite stamping but I wanted to share this secret Santa present that I have made for someone. My friend was given one of these games a few years ago and I loved it. I found on Pintrest a way to dye rice so set about making one. I gathered little bits and pieces from the kids toy box and from around the house. The game is called find it, the container is left overs from a food product I had saved, I knew I would find a use for it one day. I used my punches and Big Shot for the cutting out shapes on the lid.

Secret Santa Treats

My oldest boy had his last day at school on Friday and wanted to take in some treats to give a few friends and some teachers, we had made some fudge earlier in the week and boxed up a couple of packages but I forgot to photograph those but we had also bought some candy canes and as a last minute (he reminded me that they needed to go to school on Thursday morning) gift so 20 minutes before he walked out the door we managed to whip these up. The big shot and my very new petit pocket die made short work of them.

Found this idea on Pinterest and made it my own using old and new Stampin' Up products. The pegs have been covered with DSP.

40 Sucks!!

These sorts of things are all around Pintrest at the moment, so I thought I would make up one for my little brother for his birthday yesterday.It's a jar with 40 lollipops in it and decorated.

Happy 21st Emily

Isn't this awesome. This was an order from one of my stamp class ladies. Her daughter (another of my stamping ladies) had her 21st a couple of weeks ago and the mum wanted one of these for all the guests to sign, isn't that a great keepsake.  I haven't made one of these squash books in a very long time so really enjoyed putting it together. Its all black and confetti white cardstock with a wee touch of silver  and a little bit of perfect plum. I used white craft ink to stamp on the black pieces and for now it has  plain black covers. A good space for some photos maybe. There are many sets used on here. I hope the birthday girl liked it. 

Gift Bag

A friend of mine had a birthday last week and I needed some thing to put my gift in. This was a cool purple bag I have been saving for awhile to decorate.  have just got the hostess set called Simply Soft and have been really keen to have a play. I think it came out really nice.
