The Elves are working hard

The little elves are flat out at the moment making all the gifts for Santa to deliver. I have seen these all over the Internet so had to have a turn too.

Countdown Calendar

I know its not Christmas time anymore but next Xmas is just to far away to wait to post this(famous last words, lol). I found this idea on a few American blogs about 2 years ago and have been looking high and low for a 24 hole mini muffin tin at a reasonable price. Well finally I found some. This came out just fantastic, It took quite a few hours to create! I love it and even though the DSP has now retired I'm posting this anyway. I love this paper, I love spots and strips I gave this to my brother and because there are 4 people in his house I couldn't fit much in it so they just got M & M's, its the thought that counts rite. The squares of DSP are stuck onto magnet squares with a little touch of ribbon in between for handles.

My Teacher gifts

12 weeks ago seems for ever ago. I signed up to receive 12 projects from Andrea Walford in Canada, she has some fantastic projects and I regularly view her blog. This was one of the projects a while back and I just changed them to suit what I had on hand. Great for using up scraps. I had so much fun making them I made lots and lots. These 3 sets I put together with a few other goodies as thanks to my kids teachers.

Ho Ho Ho, santa is on his way

This was the 1st of my xmas cards that my ladies did at our class this past weekend. Its an idea from split coast but the mustache for santa was cut in an odd shape so we used the body of the bird punch as some thing a bit different and I think it came out really well, The embossing folder is the 'other' brand but nothing else would give the same effect. This was such a fun card to do. With a little bit of sponging in pretty in pink ink to give him a nice rosy glow
