My friend came over for a stamping visit last week and because she knows I like this set she always brings it with her. This is not my first play with it, I feel in love with it the very 1st time I played, ooh I think I'm just gonna have to order my own set. This was again using 'embossing resist' and just being totally random. I love my Big Shot lots and lots but am trying for a change to do a few cards with out it. - and its very hard work !

Punch Art Tags
Well I'm back from a fantastic summer camping holiday at the beach and ready to get blogging again. I have lots to catch up with. Just before Xmas one of my boys had a birthday, this is the invitation I came up with. The inspiration came from Andrea Walford. My copy of her work is the tag with the bugs all over it. My sons invitation was the blue shark one. The shark punch art was found in blog land somewhere, sorry i cant remember where. The sweet treats cups did have jelly snakes in them. When you pulled the tag out to get to the lollies all the invite information was on there. As you can imagine they caused quite a stir when they were given out at school.
And the razzleberry tag at the top is the one my friend made for her niece for her birthday card/present.

My Teacher gifts
12 weeks ago seems for ever ago. I signed up to receive 12 projects from Andrea Walford in Canada, she has some fantastic projects and I regularly view her blog. This was one of the projects a while back and I just changed them to suit what I had on hand. Great for using up scraps. I had so much fun making them I made lots and lots. These 3 sets I put together with a few other goodies as thanks to my kids teachers.

Christmas Box
This wee box is from my new delivery yesterday, it is the fancy favour box . I added a handle and a lid to it. I think it came out fantastic and just love the Xmas pack of DSP, and that new Cherry cobbler colour has I think becoming my new favourite colour too.

I have conquered the Impossible
........The 'impossible box' that is. This is from a great tutorial I found on Paula Dobson's blog. I found it a while ago and decided it looked to hard but in the weekend I decided I needed a challenge. It was a very clear and easy to follow tutorial and quite an easy box to make as it turned out. My box came out 2 1/2" square, just the right size to add a few chocolates to lift someones day.

My little Pony
This is my first card made with this set and its a loose copy out of the card in the latest mini.
I bought this set because I have a very girlie 3 year old, I even quite enjoyed playing with it myself. The lovely lilac strip is just randomly stamped with all the little bits in the set. I think it came out very cute although as I finished I realised I should have had either the wings OR the horn , not both lol. Although I was informed ' my little ponies' have both.

Fathers Day is creeping closer
I have started making up some ideas for Fathers day and at my last $3.00 cards night we made all our cards to suit the men and boys. I will post those over the next couple of days. First up is what I made for my husband from me and 3 kids. We each have a pocket. The tags all come out and I'm going to get a photo of each kid and then they can each write a message on the back of their tag and then we will slip a gift card or something in the 4th pocket. The original is not my idea but I combined a few things I have seen around the Internet. This one took quite a while to make because I was playing with a few ideas at the time. This would be so easy to adapt for different occasions. Today I have 6 ladies coming to do a class on this, but not necessary for the men so that will be fun to see every ones Else's take on it, and I will try to get some photos to post. There were lots of different stamp sets, punches and a far bit of sponging too.
