Triple time stamping

These cards are all around at the moment and as I was blog surfing this morning I found a great example of this kind of card that I cased completely because I loved the colours and he provided a great tutorial for it too, although I did have to slightly alter the size. The blog was www.stampwithbrian.com
The card on the left was from his blog and the other card was a last play with a retired set and colours, well possibly not a last play, I just might hang on to this set.

Sepia Scrapbooking

I was playing around with my camera one day and found this sepia setting that i didn't no was there. So when I got home i had a go at scrapbooking them in the same colours. For along time this was my most favourite page..... until I did some more scrapbooking.

10 Minutes or less....

I decided to try one of Sandi Maciver's 10 minutes or less cards. It took me way longer but I think I still like what I managed. I used different stamps and realised later there was another big difference but over all not bad I think. I like it.

Hip to be Square...

This was a card I first saw done by Mary Fish, on her blog called 'stampinpretty.com' she has a fantastic blog. Her card was also done in green. I had a person in mind for this card when I also decided to do green, I used Old olive for the card base and pear pizzaz for the ink, its such a nice green. I then decided to have another go using Black and vanilla, and then changed the card a bit. I used lots of different stamps in these and a few pearls. I love how they both came out and am now keen to try some different colour combos.

flutterby

This was a colour combo from my colour coach, I think it came out very pretty. On the butterfly I mixed dazzling diamonds glitter with clear embossing powder so there is a nice little bling IRL.

Beautiful Butterflies

I'm Back, been real busy doing school stuff and have not had time for much else. Want to share this cool card we made last month at my card class and everyone loved it and lots of variations by way of colour were done to this card, they all looked fantastic. I found a similar card on SCS. That butterfly seems to look so nice in what ever colours and it embosses wonderfully as do all stampin' up stamps!!

I have conquered the Impossible

........The 'impossible box' that is. This is from a great tutorial I found on Paula Dobson's blog. I found it a while ago and decided it looked to hard but in the weekend I decided I needed a challenge. It was a very clear and easy to follow tutorial and quite an easy box to make as it turned out. My box came out 2 1/2" square, just the right size to add a few chocolates to lift someones day.

Criss cross treat box

I found this design on one of my many trips around blog land quite a while ago. Its created very easily out of less that a sheet of A4 card stock. It came out a little smaller than I thought but would make great treat holders for birthdays or something. Its done with the fabulous Rich Razzelberry c/s that teams so well with old olive and a wee touch of vanilla. The F has been double stamped and one of them cut out and layered with dimensials. there is a pull tab on the top of the plastic bag within for quick access to the treats!!

My Vintage Vogue

Everyone is playing and ordering this set at the moment, so now its my turn. Its so pretty, but what to do with it.

I have a whole lot of sketches that I have made a copy of into my notebook so I could attempt them at some stage without a time limit over my head and I so enjoyed it, I might even go have ago at some for real around blog world. I cant now remember where this sketch came from but I think it looks nice with this set. Complete with bling!
