Triple time stamping

These cards are all around at the moment and as I was blog surfing this morning I found a great example of this kind of card that I cased completely because I loved the colours and he provided a great tutorial for it too, although I did have to slightly alter the size. The blog was www.stampwithbrian.com
The card on the left was from his blog and the other card was a last play with a retired set and colours, well possibly not a last play, I just might hang on to this set.

The Open sea, for the blokes

I finally have got the have a play with some new goodies. I am so glad we got this set in New Zealand, I also have the DSP that goes with this open sea stamp set and I have so many sea side photos to scrap with it. Anyways, these two cards are for two family members birthdays commin' up. The card on the left has been cased from Deb Ferns, an Australian Demo. Its a nice clean looking card. And then the one to the right I just let loose and played. I also used the new to me smooch spritz. Here I have used the 'Gold Glow' one that kind of gives the card an aged look as well as the sparkle that you can't see here. This stuff is so cool and I have to hold back from putting it on all my cards lol.

The birds are back.

Aren't these cards cute, I still love this set. This was based on a card I found in blogland that had a bird cage on it but from someother company, There are bits and pieces from there although I can't remember where I found it now. The blue one is my fav but just because I'm not a pink person. The birds on the pink card are a happy mistake and I think it corrected quite well.

The stars are out tonight

I was out blog hopping a few days ago, going from one blog to another as you do.... And I came across this awesome card( sorry I don't no how to do link thing ) with some great instructions. I have also just purchased my 1st pack of Love Letter DSP. This card doesn't have much stamping on it, I let the papers steal the show

This card has very cool wow factor and so many possibilities. watch this space I think I will be making a few more of these now I have my triangle template.

Well Autumn is most definitely here...

Autumn inspired cards that is. I have finally inked up my French Foliage set that was my first pick from the Autumn - Winter mini that stampin'-up has out at the moment. I don't no why it has taken me so long. This is such a fantastic set to get creative with. Two of these cards were done with the "embossing resist" technique and the 3rd card was a case from off the web. I love how these came out. The card at the top has a layout of another card I found in blog land but I have changed the colours and the stamp set used. Also I didn't have and matching ribbon so dyed my ribbon using a teaspoon and an ink pad. And maybe I should have done the same in the card to the left. oh well to late now.

Thanks for looking.

Beautiful Butterflies

I'm Back, been real busy doing school stuff and have not had time for much else. Want to share this cool card we made last month at my card class and everyone loved it and lots of variations by way of colour were done to this card, they all looked fantastic. I found a similar card on SCS. That butterfly seems to look so nice in what ever colours and it embosses wonderfully as do all stampin' up stamps!!
