Well Autumn is most definitely here...

Autumn inspired cards that is. I have finally inked up my French Foliage set that was my first pick from the Autumn - Winter mini that stampin'-up has out at the moment. I don't no why it has taken me so long. This is such a fantastic set to get creative with. Two of these cards were done with the "embossing resist" technique and the 3rd card was a case from off the web. I love how these came out. The card at the top has a layout of another card I found in blog land but I have changed the colours and the stamp set used. Also I didn't have and matching ribbon so dyed my ribbon using a teaspoon and an ink pad. And maybe I should have done the same in the card to the left. oh well to late now.

Thanks for looking.

Black and White

This is one of those ideas I have seen many of and have had this on my 'to do' list for a long time. A card with so many possibilities with all the different embossing folders available. Black and white is a fantastic colour combo for a special occasion.

Going Green

This is a colour I have not used and is maybe a bit odd for a Sympathy card but I needed a dark- ish colour. This is a case from blog land that I really liked. It uses the embossing resist technique and also a 'new to me' technique of apply ink over an embossed image, I like this! Think I will be doing this some more. This now retired Bliss set make such nice sympathy cards

Driving by.....

Here I am...... I have not up loaded anything here for quite some time but I have been crafting, but just need to photograph all my things . This is a card I made sometime ago using the Joy fold Design. I had a wee scrap of embossed wallpaper left over from another project and That's how it all began. Wall paper embosses so well because its soft. This card just evolved from there. I love it and its the second I have made just with different wall paper.

Mini Scrapbooking

This is my latest project I have been working on. I found a great blog belonging to Sarah in the states with a fantastic tutorial on how to make these. It is made with 5 envelopes which have the top flap cut off them so the pages then double as pockets. I have used the celebration DSP with the quick accents which are self adhesive. I had over looked these in the past, but no longer they are great and so easy to use Combines with the matching paper they made decorating this album so easy.

I have used lots of different bits of stamp sets in this, but mainly the extreme elements set because I decided to make this for my son. He is also a lover of all things "Bugs" so the bugs and kisses stamp set is in there to.

Note in the picture below my cat's foot in the photo, he was trying so hard to help me take photos. lol

this was so much fun to make! If you would like to have ago to please contact me.

Dynamic Duo Easel Cards

This is my Mother's Day cards for my Mum and MIL. They are copied directly from the Blog of Bronwyn Eastley, A Demo in Aussie. Why change perfection I say. She has made up lots of these in all the dynamic Duo's from the colour coach. Blue is my favourite colour and my Mums. The card to the left has been made with Marina mist and Bashful blue and nice and soft looking, The one to the right is Not Quite Navy and Baja Breeze and I put lots of little bits of bling. This is a great Hostess level one set that fits stampin-up punches so no fiddly cutting out. Just Like Bronwyn has done I think I may make up more of the Duo's. It's hard to pick a favourite one

Hip to be Square...

This was a card I first saw done by Mary Fish, on her blog called 'stampinpretty.com' she has a fantastic blog. Her card was also done in green. I had a person in mind for this card when I also decided to do green, I used Old olive for the card base and pear pizzaz for the ink, its such a nice green. I then decided to have another go using Black and vanilla, and then changed the card a bit. I used lots of different stamps in these and a few pearls. I love how they both came out and am now keen to try some different colour combos.
