Last Friday night a friend and I got together to play just with punches and to create some of the punch art animals that we have seen around blogs, there some very talented artists out there. Not so long ago I created a punch art pukeko from a crow I had seen on a blog just by changing the colours. So that got me thinking how to make it real "kiwi". this is what I came up with. Its not quite all stampin' up because we dont have a droplet shape(the eyes). But isnt it just so cute. it was a bleak day here when I took the photo. The base colour of the card is Baja breeze.

Criss cross treat box
I found this design on one of my many trips around blog land quite a while ago. Its created very easily out of less that a sheet of A4 card stock. It came out a little smaller than I thought but would make great treat holders for birthdays or something. Its done with the fabulous Rich Razzelberry c/s that teams so well with old olive and a wee touch of vanilla. The F has been double stamped and one of them cut out and layered with dimensials. there is a pull tab on the top of the plastic bag within for quick access to the treats!!

Lots of Bots again
Here is another card from that awesome new stamp set Lot of Bots; my current favourite set.
This card was made mostly from my scrap box. I have an ever growing bigger box of scraps and I have to start using it some more. Its so easy to get a new piece of card stock when you sit to make a new creation.

My Vintage Vogue
Everyone is playing and ordering this set at the moment, so now its my turn. Its so pretty, but what to do with it.
I have a whole lot of sketches that I have made a copy of into my notebook so I could attempt them at some stage without a time limit over my head and I so enjoyed it, I might even go have ago at some for real around blog world. I cant now remember where this sketch came from but I think it looks nice with this set. Complete with bling!
Lots of Bots
Even before the new Autumn winter mini came out I had seen this stamp set on a few blogs and decided this was my must have set from this mini along with plenty of others, lol.
This is so cute and great for boys cards, my boys love this set. I have played with it a couple of times now. This 1st card is such a cool colour combo. I have not long got my first pack of basic grey and I want to put it with everything, as you will see over my next few posts.
My clever Dad
Hi there. My Dad came to visit in the weekend and he's been busy building me this. Isnt this he just the coolest Dad ever.
The photo is not so good, I was trying not to get my very messy work desk in the photo.but you get the idea. It holds 40 different packs of paper, but there is room to put two or three packs in each slot. I'm so pleased with it. Its time to biff out my cardboard box. Thanks Dad.

Retro flowers for mum
On Wednesday I went into my childrens school to make mothers day cards with 5 and 6 year old kids. This was a card I cased from a blog I visit very regularly. Flowerbug's inkspot punch art . This lady does the most amazing punch art. I needed something very simple for the kids. I took in lots of my punches and they just cut shapes and flowers out of different papers. They had a ball.

Book marks ( kids project)
Hello everyone.
I just wanted to share these today. I made them a while ago but they have come out again because I needed a nice easy craft to make with kids at school. The kids are from 5 to 10 years old, Its the after school group at my childrens school, The older kids are great at helping out the younger ones, but needed some thing nice and easy to hold there attention. They are just made with scraps and punches. The magnets that hold them together are just the flat advertisement ones you get in the letter box now and again. They cut very easily with the scissors and are then just stuck on with double sided tape. I wasnt the first to come up with this idea although I did change it a bit from most bookmarks you see on blogs and things because I didnt have any of those giant paperclips lots of people use. This then becomes recycling.
