Embossing Resist

These are two cards I did a while back but forgot to post. The technique is embossing resist, something I have been meaning to try for a while and once I got going I couldn't stop. this was so fun to do. Some of the colours in these cards have retired now but I find when you do this you can never tell how its going to come out.

Its fun to do in a class because they all come out so totally different.

Sesame Street comes to town

These are my version of the sesame street characters made with the scallop circle in the Big Shot. They are so much fun to create. I had to bring out a couple of retired colours to get the right colours but the kids don't mind. These would make such great kids party invites. The Cookie monster has a part eaten cookie hanging from inside on a piece of ribbon so you can put it to his mouth for nibbling on. And Big Bird needs his eyes put further up on top of his head. No stamping involved here.
