Pretty Presents
In the weekend my kids got to take part in the Rotorua Santa Parade. They were riding in a 1026 Model A car. The two old gentleman with the car, one the owner and one the driver were proud of all the attention there car was attracting. I made up these thank you gifts for them. Homemade fruit mince pies and presented them in these decorated XL Kraft boxes that we have. I love the end result.

New Stamps, Old Technique
This fantastic card came from a stamp set in the mini catalogue and I have gone back to something that I think lots of people learn when first starting out stamping. Colouring directly onto the rubber. A fabulous set to do this on, turns simple into fun. This is an oversized card. My son put in an order for a teacher who is leaving. So sweet. I'm keen to do this some more with the other 2 other stamps in the set now.

Saying Goodbye
These six cards were a request from a friend for a family member as a good bye for special people. I bought the feathers bundle because I thought it would make great sympathy cards. I started with black and white, added in one other colour and this is what popped out! I love these, there is quite a variety of sets used.

Happy Hallowe'en
Although we don't celebrate this in our house, I do like to make we treats for my kids. This year instead of lollies I found this idea on Pintrest, using cheese balls so these could go into my kids lunch boxes today

Something for Baby
These two very simple cute cards came about from a gift I received in a bag made from the blue paper down the left hand side of both these cards. I teamed it up with pacific point cardstock and some cute wee images from the something for baby stamp set.
Four feathers Sympathy
I have unfortunately had occasion to make sympathy cards lately and this new set and Framelits a great for this occasion and O so many possibilities. The 1st card here is cased be caused in loved the colour combo but once I started to play with this set the creativity kick it, - yay it's been lacking lately!
This 2nd card is smokey grey with one other colour, I really like this one so I think I might go make it up in different colour ways.

Gift bag and matching card
These bags are about the internet in small and smaller sizes to fit in wee chocolate treats but this time I needed a larger sized gift bag. It's still made from a 12 x 12 piece of cardstock. I let the DSP be my colour choice and !!.... mixing crisp cantaloupe in with cherry cobbler is not where I would have gone. This paper is from the Trim the Tree DSP stack in the mini catalogue. I made a colour matched card from a card sketch online at the moment . I love these little flowers made from small scallop circles, screwed up then wetted. Happy Birthday Star.

Quick 1 - layer cards
I have about 5 minutes to whip up 4 cards to go with some gift cards that were being given out at my school. So grabbed a couple of colours I liked and made up some really simply cards. Slightly overcast day today so the colours have not photographed well . Blackberry bliss, elegant eggplant, hello honey and island Indigo.

Happy Birthday...
......to my nephew who turns 17 today, wow where did those years go. He is a very outdoors type person and loves to hunt. This was a Pinterest find that I loved but just had to change a bit to fit with the stamps I had. I think it suits him perfectly.

The Great Outdoors
My good friends son is having a birthday next week so it was time to bring out some male inspired cards. Fathers Day is also next week so have already got the thinking cap on. This set has not seen much inky time and it fitted in well with this sketch that I found.

Ladies purse.
I have a bridal shower to go to this afternoon so wanted to take a wee treat for the bride to be. This is one of my Pinterest pins, ( finally I made one ! ). It's made from a 12x12 piece of modern Medley DSP.

So pretty!
I had an order for a wedding card for a friend, and happen to know the 'bride to be' 's favourite colour is pink! So I made this card based on a card we made at a team training many moons ago. I have used different colours but mostly it's the same card. An un- usual colour combo pink and gold but I think it works well. And I love the gold and silver bakers twine in the mini catalogue. Just $7.25.

Happy Mothers Day
Aren't these pretty packages and so quick to put together with the chevron printed kraft bags. These are wee Mother's Day treats for my kids teachers, one of them doesn't have children but she is still worth celebrating because she is an awesome teacher! Just as I went to take my photo the sun went behind a cloud!

Congratulations Grad
I have wanted to make a graduation card for some one for a long time, today I had a friend put in an order for one for a teacher at my kids school. I followed an awesome video tutorial for one on Frenchies blog. Its called a Graduation Easel Card. I don't have a score pal but found it easy enough with out it. Not bad for the very small time slot that I had to work with. The stamping is tucked up inside( not much room for it) so you can't see much. The card stands up really well.

Clean up time!
Isnt it interesting what one finds during a tidy up. I found these really cute little flowers, well that was the end of clean up time!!. They matched up with the in colour Strawberry slushy. I stamped a few of the awesome big swirl from Everything Elenore set and then just randomly placed the flowers. I put birthday greetings on these cards but they would suit other occasions to. And I still have more flowers to go.
